100th Anniversary Celebration


Celebrating 100 Years of Enhancing Quality of Life in Milwaukee County   In 2007, the Milwaukee County Parks celebrates its 100th anniversary. In 1907 the governing body known as the Milwaukee County Parks Commission was formed, and with it came the creation of the Milwaukee County Park System. Today Milwaukee County is home to over 15,000 acres of parks and parkways that enhance the quality of life for residents in southeastern Wisconsin.
