Sept. 22 - Milwaukee Police arrested a 50-year-old Milwaukee man for burglary after witnesses saw the suspect take several cowboy hats and a belt from LaMexicana Records at about 11:30 p.m. on September 21. The suspect used bricks to smash the front window of the business, located in the 1100 block of W. Lincoln Avenue, and take the property. Witnesses told officers that were in the area and the suspect was quickly arrested near S. 13th and W. Lincoln. The suspect was carrying the stolen property at the time of his arrest.
The suspect has a lengthy arrest record with the Milwaukee Police Department for a variety of crimes including theft, disorderly conduct, loitering, drug offenses, and burglary. He will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
