| Ald. Davis welcomes 2nd District resident Bishara Dorre, the reigning Miss Wisconsin Teen USA 2006 to the Common Council chamber where he presented her with a congratulatory resolution. Bishara is only the second African American in Wisconsin to hold the title. To win the Miss Wisconsin Teen USA title, Bishara, a student at Wauwatosa East High School, competed with 25 other young women. During her reign she is focusing on the issues of peer pressure, teen volunteerism and family literacy. Congratulations from the 2nd District! |
