Christopher D. Domagalski Captain - Criminal Investigation Bureau Appointed: 2/17/92
Captain Christopher Domagalski was appointed to the Milwaukee Police Department on February 17, 1992. As a Police Officer he was assigned to the Fifth District and the Vice Control Division. He was promoted to Detective in September 1996, and served in the Persons Division, Gang Crimes Intelligence Division and the Homicide Division.
He was promoted to Lieutenant of Detectives in January 2001 and served as a supervisor in all three of the Divisions within the Criminal Investigation Bureau (Property, Persons and Homicide) as well as the Vice Control Division.
He was promoted to Captain of Police in July 2006 and assigned to the Criminal Investigation Bureau – Early Shift. He currently serves as the Commander of the Sensitive Crimes Division and the Crisis Negotiation Unit.
Captain Domagalski has a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice Management and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and the Police Executive Research Forum’s Senior Management Institute in Policing. He is currently completing graduate studies at Marquette University.
