Mar. 16 - A 29-year-old man was arrested during a traffic stop on March 13 when officers saw drugs sticking out of the passenger’s pocket. Officers Daniel Robinson and Kieran Sawyer from District 7 stopped the car at 1:30 p.m. in the 4600 block of N. Hopkins Avenue. The passenger was arrested after Officer Sawyer saw marijuana sticking out of his pocket. When Officer Sawyer searched the suspect he found a 9mm handgun in his waistband. Cocaine was also found on the suspect. The suspect, a previously convicted felon, will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.
