Help MPD Catch Walgreen’s Robbery Suspect

Feb. 10 - The Milwaukee Police Department has released surveillance video of a February 9 armed robbery at Walgreen’s located at 6292 S. 27th Street.

At about 1 a.m. the suspect entered the store and approached the pharmacist with a handwritten note demanding oxycontin and oxycodone. The pharmacist complied, but the suspect displayed a handgun and demanded more. The pharmacist did not give any more to the suspect and the suspect fled in a tan, silver or gray newer full-sized auto.

The suspect is described as a white male, 20 to 23-years-old, 5’3” to 5’5”, medium build, wearing a fake beard and mustache, a black knit cap, a gray hooded coat, a black t-shirt, gray sweatpants, and white athletic shoes with dark soles.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the Milwaukee Police Department Criminal Investigation Bureau at 414-935-7360.
