Darryl Winston

Inspector Darryl Winston joined the Milwaukee Police Department in 1983.  As a police officer he was assigned to the Fourth Police District.  He later earned promotions to the rank of police sergeant, lieutenant of police, captain of police.  In 2009 he was promoted to the rank of Inspector of Police.  

During his career Inspector Winston earned a Master's Degree in Criminal Justice and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Criminal Justice.

He is a graduate of the Senior Management Institute For Policing in Boston, Massachusetts.

Inspector Winston is currently assigned to the Criminal Investgation Bureau, where  under the command of Assistant Chief James Harpole, he oversees operations of each of the six investigative division.
