In addition to providing vaccinations and immunization records to residents in the City of Milwaukee, the Immunization Program is involved with several federal, state, and local initiatives that focus on community collaboration, educating and supporting local health care providers, child care providers and school administrators to increase immunization rates in the community.     

 

2009 Immunization Symposium

The Immunization Symposium is intended for nurses, nurse practitioners, medical assistants and other health care professionals who serve children and promote immunizations. 

This year's immunization symposium will be held on Thursday, September 17th, 2009, from 5:45 to 8:45 PM at the Italian Conference Center, 631 E. Chicago St.  Registeration information can be found on the brochure here.
