MILWAUKEE, WI—During his campaign, Mayor Tom Barrett promised to go out into the community on a regular basis to meet with residents, as a way of "opening" City Hall to the people. Making good on that promise, the first three "Brown Bag Lunches" with the Mayor have been scheduled. They are:

Wednesday, May 26, 2004, 12 noon
City Hall, 200 E. Wells Street – Room 101

Monday, June 7, 2004, 12 noon
Fritsche Middle School, 2969 S. Howell Avenue
(Not open to the public. For students only)

Wednesday, July 14, 2004, 12 noon
Wilson Park Senior Center—Lounge, 2601 W. Howard Avenue

During these Brown Bag Lunches, citizens are encouraged to bring their lunch and have a casual conversation with the Mayor, discuss their concerns, issues and hear his plans for the future.

For more information about the Brown Bag Lunches, please call 286-2200.
