Milwaukee County Land & Water Resource Management Plan
Chapter 92 of the Wisconsin State Statutes requires Wisconsin counties to develop Land & Water Resource Management Plans. These plans were required as a means to aid Counties in protecting Wisconsin's land and water resources.
Milwaukee County's original plan was developed in 2001 and was updated in 2006 with the coordination with the Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection (DATCP) and the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (WDNR).
Milwaukee County's Land and Water Resource Management Plan was approved by the State Land and Water Conservation Board on June 6, 2006.
