Results of all blood lead tests must be reported to Public Health Officials per Wisconsin State Law.

Data from the Milwaukee Childhood Lead Poisoning Prevention Program (City of Milwaukee residents only):

Incidence is defined as the number of children (here identified as less than six years old) in any given time period who have exceeded a limit of lead in the blood (here identified as 10 µg/dL) for the very first time in their blood lead history.

Prevalence - expressed as a percentage - is defined as the number of children who have exceeded a limit of lead in the blood (here identified as 10 µg/dL) divided by the total number of children tested for lead in their blood. The time period and age category must be identical for both.

Testing Penetration
