Lionel L. Hoffer Memorial Medal

This medal was created in memory of Fire Fighter Lionel L. Hoffer of Ladder Company 11, who on December 24, 1994, was killed in the "Line of Duty" while working at a fire on West North Avenue.

The Lionel L. Hoffer medal will be given out to any Milwaukee Fire Fighter who gives his life for the citizens of Milwaukee.

This medal will honor Lionel and all Fallen Milwaukee Fire Fighters who have given the supreme sacrifice.
