As part of our commitment to provide citizens with efficient convenient service, Milwaukee County has partnered with Official Payments Corporation to offer payment of delinquent property taxes and fees over the Internet and by telephone.
Delinquent property taxes can be paid online by credit card. Taxpayers paying online receive immediate acknowledgment of the payment(s) made. The online payment must be initiated and finalized before midnight (Central Standard Time) on the last day of the month to avoid additional penalty and interest charges.
You will receive payment acknowledgement after the payment is complete, which will include a confirmation number and the payment date and time. We suggest that you print this page for your records. You will also receive a confirmation Email if your Email address was provided in the transaction.

Note: Acknowledgment confirms receipt of your information and intent to pay delinquent property taxes. Be sure to keep a copy of the acknowledgement for your records.
The Milwaukee County Treasurer uses Official Payments Corporation to process credit card payments for American Express, Discover, Master Card, and Visa. Official Payments Corporation charges a 2.75% convenience fee for processing the payments.
In order to comply with terms of the merchant agreement, the Milwaukee County Treasurer cannot accept credit card charges over the counter.
CONVENIENCE FEE DISCLOSURE
IF YOU PAY BY CREDIT CARD, A 2.75% CONVENIENCE FEE BASED ON THE AMOUNT OF DELINQUENT TAX IS CHARGED BY OFFICIAL PAYMENTS CORPORATION, THE FINANCIAL INTERMEDIARY USED BY THE MILWAUKEE COUNTY TREASURER'S OFFICE.
No portion of the convenience fee is paid to the Milwaukee County Treasurer's Office or to any other Government entity. If you do not wish to incur the convenience fee of 2.75%, you must pay in person or by mail, or consider paying online by E-Check, as only a fixed convenience fee of $2.75 is charged.
Using the credit card option will result in a direct charge to your charge account. The amount charged for the convenience fee is 2.75% of the payment amount with a minimum fee of $1.
