Mission Statement
The Milwaukee County Personnel Review Board must assure fair and impartial due process hearings for the suspension, demotion or discharge of County employees in the classified service as provided by law and as prescribed under Wis. Stats. 63.10 and 63.12, and Chapters 9, 17.207 & 33 of the Milwaukee County General Ordinances.

Meet the Board
The Personnel Review Board consists of five members functioning as a quasi-judicial body.
The Board Members are:

Purpose
- The Board reviews all disciplinary charges alleging an employee in the classified service has acted in such a manner as to merit suspension, demotion or discharge. (See Wis. Stats. Chs. 63.10 and 63.12)
- The Board hears all appeals of non-represented Milwaukee County employees in the final step of the established County grievance procedure. (See M.C.G.O. 17.207)
- The Board acts as an independent fact finder in cases referred by the Ethics Board.
- The Board also reviews the rules, practices, and procedures of the Civil Service Commission.
