Picnic

Reservable Sites  |  Policy & Procedures  |  Cancellation

The Picnic Season runs May 1 through Oct. 31

There are literally hundreds of free locations for you to spread out a blanket for your small picnic outing in your Milwaukee County Parks. However, if you will be consuming alcohol, or if you need to be assured there will be picnic tables, you are required to have a picnic permit.

Reservable Picnic Areas/Permits
For your company picnic or family get-together, ensure that your ideal picnic site will be available by reserving the site with a permit. Prime picnic sites go quickly, so plan ahead. In January, we begin taking your reservations for most sites through Oct. 31 of the following year. For example, On Jan. 2, 2008, we will take your reservation for Oct. 30, 2009.
