Putting More Police On Our Streets

I have successfully fought this year to have additional new Milwaukee police officers trained so that they can be deployed for street patrol duty as soon as possible. This development – in combination with my successful efforts for additional police officers last year – means that we'll have even more police on the streets this year.
 
Getting more cops on the street is a top priority of mine because a strong and visible police presence is critical if we are to efficiently wage war on crime. Nevertheless, we still do not have enough police officers and I will continue my efforts to get more cops on the street.
