Tattoos and body piercing are very popular and in order to decrease the risk of the transfer of blood-borne diseases such as Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C or H.I.V., establishments are licensed and inspected by The Consumer Environmental Health Division. License applications for Tattoo/Body Piercing establishments can be obtained at our main office.   
The State of Wisconsin, Department of Health and Family Services issues Tattooist/Body Piercer practitioner licenses: dhfs.wisconsin.gov
Requirements for tattooing and body piercing:

 Chapter 75-51 of the Milwaukee Code of Ordinances

 Chapter HFS 173 of The State of Wisconsin Administrative Code
