Temporary Event Food License Fees

  • Restaurants:The fee per temporary event for the first day of operation and for a temporary restaurant that operates no more than one day is $55 ($60 effective 7-1-08). The fee per temporary event for each additional day of operation for each temporary restaurant is $30 ($35 effective 7-1-08). The temporary restaurant shall also pay the Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services Fee of $10 per year.

  • Extension of Premises: Licensed food establishments that extend their food operations to the outside for a temporary event: The fee is $45 if the temporary extension is one day or less and $65 when the emporary extension is more than one day. The temporary extension shall also pay the Wisconsin Division of Health and Family Services Fee of $10 per year.
  • Retail operations (non-restaurant): The fee per event for temporary food operations that process food at the point of sale is $55 ($60 effective 7-1-08). The fee per event for temporary food operations that do not process at the point of sale is $35 ($40 effective 7-1-08).
  • Farmers' market: The fee for an annual temporary food dealer's license for vendors who offer for sale foods other than restaurant foods is $65.
  • Other fees: The late fee is $25 ($40 effective 7-1-08) if fees are not paid 5 days before the event. The duplicate license fee is $8.
