Traffic Stop Leads to Heroin Arrest in District 3

Jan. 5 - District 3 officers Robert Toeller and Timothy McNair stopped a minivan in the 2400 block of N. 27th St. at 11 p.m. on January 2. The officers determined that the driver’s license was revoked. The driver was arrested and when the officers searched the van they found 15 tinfoil bindles of heroin in the passenger compartment. The officers also found prescription medication on one of the passengers that was not contained in the appropriate container. She is currently out on bail for a possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia case in Waukesha County. The four occupants of the van will be referred to the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s office for possible charges. All four are from West Bend, Wisconsin.
