There are three entities that will require paperwork for incentives: Focus on Energy, We Energies, and the Federal Government.

Often the site assessor or installer will handle your rebate/incentives paperwork for you. But if you are doing it yourself, below you will find the necessary forms.

Regarding the forms and the process, keep in mind:

• If you select a site assessor from Focus on Energy's List of Certified Site Assessors then you will qualify for a 50% rebate from Focus on Energy.
• Regarding the installation rebates from Focus on Energy and We Energies: forms from both Focus on Energy and We Energies must be completed and submitted to Focus on Energy (together) IN ADVANCE of the installation or purchase of materials. Please determine your ELIGIBILITY of receiving incentives in advance.
• Once Focus on Energy approves the applications then you can go ahead and contract an installer. Please select an installer listed on Focus on Energy's List of Certified Installers.
• Then once the installation is complete you will fill out the form called "Notice of Installation" and submit it to Focus on Energy.
• Upon successful review of the application you will be mailed the rebate check.
• During the year that the installation work was complete you will file for the 30% Federal Investment tax credit. The federal tax credit is the last step.
