Environmental Services’ role is to improve the environmental quality of life for all Milwaukee residents. The Environmental Services mission of “Clean & Green” promotes clean and healthy neighborhoods, waste reduction, recycling, safe roadways during winter months, and preservation of a healthy urban forest.

New Highlights

SELF HELP OPERATIONS! Effective February 1, 2010, City self help stations will be closed on Wednesdays. Beginning in April, there will be a charge for all City residents bringing construction related material into the self help stations. This includes roofing material, brick, stones, concrete, lumber, drywall, paneling and other construction material. Contractors are not allowed. See the self help page for more information
