Your Government, At Work For You

Every day, Milwaukee residents are served by dedicated public employees at the federal, state, county, and city levels. Police officers, firefighters, health care professionals, teachers, planners, engineers, social workers, streets and sanitation crews, and countless others provide an array of diverse and vital services to the citizens of Milwaukee.

Next week, on Wednesday, May 7, 2008, Milwaukee will celebrate Public Service Day and recognize those who serve our community. Public Service Day will also feature a Government Agency Resource Fair so all Milwaukee residents can learn about important public services from the federal, state, and local branches of government.

The Government Agency Resource Fair is a great opportunity to learn how various public agencies can work for you, and is a great place to get your questions answered about government services. This is your one-stop place for answers by the experts!
